With one of the company’s largest electronics plants and the headquarters of the Architecture and Network Solutions business unit, AUMOVIO Regensburg is one of the region’s largest employers.
The company’s history dates back to 1981. Since then, forward-looking solutions for the global automotive industry have been developed and produced at the site.
On a guided tour, you will gain fascinating insights into the world of Industry 4.0 and see driverless transport robots navigating autonomously through the production halls, machines communicating independently with one another, and many other highlights. In this highly automated production environment, the so-called ICAS (In-Car Application Server) is manufactured – a high-performance computer that functions like a server inside the vehicle. Acting as the “brain” of the car, it takes over central control functions and enables a wide range of intelligent applications, turning the vehicle into a connected supercomputer on wheels.

You must register in advance in order to take part in a tour. During the tours, which take place exclusively during ongoing production, selected areas of production will be visited and explained

Registering as an employee
AUMOVIO employees and temporary workers can register for tours as an individual or book exclusive group tours for departments or project teams. The tours for individuals take place at fixed times and in mixed groups.

Registration for external groups
External visitor groups such as companies, school groups or universities are welcome to take a look behind the scenes at AUMOVIO Regensburg on an exclusive group tour. Please understand, that external visitors can only enter the tour as group, but not as individuals.
